It wouldn’t shock me if Spurs fans started parading up and down outside White hart lane today after the departure of Harry Redknapp.

All England football fans have a duty to get behind Roy Hodgson if he’s appointed as England manager. There’s been a bit of negative comment already about him being too dull to fulfil the role. And the popular view seems to be that only Harry Redknapp is good enough for the job.

Personally I think Harry would have been great. He clearly inspires footballers to play to their best and he has tremendous charisma to carry the role of our national boss. And I’m not convinced the job has been gifted yet to the West Brom manager ...
