One of the great sporting images of this year will be that of 7-year-old Ben Wiggins riding alongside his world-beater dad on the Champs-Elysees.

Dad, of course, is Bradley Wiggins who’s just made history by becoming the first Englishman ever to win the Tour de France. Father and son pedalled alongside each other on replica bikes and there was a real mini-me look about it.
